We are located in Highland Park,
IL right in the heart of the North Shore. In the early fall of 1984 Carefree
Comfort first opened its doors. It's humble beginnings paved the way for the
Carefree Comfort we know today. Over 20 years ago, president Joe Sciarrone
ran a one man company out of his parents' garage. Before long he had a few
employees and the business began to grow. Soon thereafter Joe's younger
brother, Dave, joined him. As the company began to grow, the tiny garage
where Carefree Comfort was established just wasn't big enough. Joe purchased
and developed property in downtown Highland Park where Carefree Comfort
operated for 18 years. Joe's youngest brother, Domenic, also helped around
the office and in the field after school and during college breaks. Upon
receiving his diploma from the University of Illinois he decided to join the
family run business full time. Carefree Comfort continued to grow and
the downtown Highland Park location was no longer adequate. The
current home of Carefree Comfort is in a historical building in Highland
Park's industrial district. With a new, state of the art facility,
Carefree Comfort is now even better equipped to handle all of you HVAC
needs. We have continued to grow into the well rounded company we are
today, with a modern day facility that includes an extensive sheet metal
fabricating shop, fully stocked warehouse/parts department, an up to date
office and several crews of highly skilled technicians. You can call
