“Our 26 year old HVAC system needed to be replaced. We received 3 quotes. Carefree came in not only the lowest but took the time to explain all our options to us and tell us why we did not need the high end for all the items. They scheduled the work within 2 days of contract signature. They told us it would be a 1-2 day job. They arrived promptly at 7:30 am and got to work. By 5 pm they said there was just a little bit left to go so rather than come back the next day, they stayed till 7pm and finished the job and got our unit up and running. By 9pm our house temp was back down to 75 degrees. MUCH appreciated. The next day one of the owners arrived to walk us through the use of the system and make sure everything was in order. 2 days later (on a Saturday) we encountered a problem with the thermostat. When we called on Saturday afternoon someone DID pick up the phone and by 6pm a tech was out here with a brand new thermostat that was replaced on the spot – no questions asked.”

“We hired Carefree Comfort, Inc. to install a high efficiency furnace in a home we just purchased. Joe, one of the brothers who owns the company, came over to give us a quote, explain how a high efficiency furnace is different than what we’ve had before and walked us through the installation process. The installers arrived on time, finished when Joe said they would and cleaned up after themselves. They even wore booties while walking through the house. Plus, one of the brothers came by at the end of the day to make sure the job had been done right and helped us program the new thermostat. The price was competitive with anything else we found and all the paperwork we needed to file for the tax credit was provided. The whole process was about as painless as could be.”

“My wife noticed the furnace was making more noise than usual. I went downstairs and confirmed the furnace was making a very high pitched sound. I called Carefree Comfort, Inc. (it was late afternoon). They asked if the furnace was putting out heat and I said yes. They came first thing the next day and the technician diagnosed the problem within minutes. Dominic called that afternoon to say they could get the part but that it was very expensive and that he was talking to warranty people to see if anything could be done about the situation (my ten year warranty had expired about 8 mos ago). He was able to get the warranty people to give me the part for free. Not many businesses will bother to do this and Carefree Comfort, Inc. certainly did not have to do what they did for me. But I am very grateful that they did, they really went above and beyond. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
